Korero Colour Challenge

Korero Color Challenge

Hello, my name is Kale'a, this Term (Term 2), My class and Nui syndicate at Wainui Beach School were participating in a korero color challenge at assembly on Friday. The day before when we were practicing, I can't believe I was the champion of my class. This term I have learnt a lot  of maori colors now, I now know I can Be a champion at it. At assembly the next day, I was soooo scared I didn't even know that I could do it, But my friend Charlotte stood up for me so if I didn't do it she would do it. I was so happy to have someone on my side. When we got to the hall I decided I was going to do it. A few minutes later...  " Coming to the stage for room 4 is...   Kale'a"! Koka Terri said. First I had to verse a boy named Quincee then I versed a boy named Santino. Sadly, I lost but a week later, my teacher gave me one of the rewards because I was brave and I came second. I was so proud of myself. I hope I can do it again.
